Types Of Solar Systems

ON GRID SOLAR

A solar system reduces electricity bills and does not include a backup mechanism. During the day, energy is supplied directly to the load, and excess energy is exported to the electric utility grid.

  • Shadow free space shall be available: Typically,1 kW system requires approximately 80 sq. ft of shadow free space

OFF GRID SOLAR

An off-grid solar inverter system works similarly to a regular household inverter. However, the key distinction lies in their ability to charge batteries directly from solar panels. This will provide a backup supply to the connected loads during an outage of the main supply.

HYBRID SOLAR

A hybrid solar system integrates solar panels, a hybrid solar inverter, battery storage, and a connection to the electrical grid. During daylight hours, the solar panels generate electricity to power the home, charge the batteries, and export any surplus energy to the grid. At night or during power outages, the system draws from the stored battery power, automatically switching to grid electricity if the batteries are depleted.
